We had a wonderful trip to Greenville and Atlanta over Christmas. While the blog may seem long, this is an extremely pared down synopsis of some of the highlights... (trust me!)
Ready for take off headed to GA!
4 hours later...Are we almost there yet? No nap makes Maddie a very tired girl. She did well, though. Delirious but without any major meltdowns.
One of Maddie's favorite gifts from YaYa was this super cool Elmo airplane, complete with buttons, moving parts and lots of great noise! Maddie had a blast getting on and off of it, as well as pushing it around the house. We are eagerly awaiting its FedEx arrival in Mount Vernon!
Maddie in her first nightgown, looking out the window for Louie. She would do this a few times a day, pointing and saying "Oooie?"
YaYa introduced Maddie to juice boxes. She got the hang of a straw quickly, but had more fun squeezing the box to make the juice squirt out.
Oh no! The traffic is so bad I might miss Santa?!
On our way to see the fat man in the red suit at Roper Mountain...
Waaaaaaaah! Not quite what she expected, perhaps. She had real tears and everything. Picture perfect...
Beautiful lights around the park at Roper Mountain.
What a doll!
Helping with the dishes, a favorite new pasttime.
Helping YaYa hand out ornaments to decorate the tree.
Santa Baby!
Go Elf Yourself!
Love Your Family!
YAY! Time to open the presents! I call dibs on all the paper scraps!
Mmmm...crayons taste good!
I'm not so sure about this...
Making sure my feet really are still there...
Yeah - check me out! I am ready for the WA rain now!
Getting her "work" done on an old laptop, another favorite gift.
Helping Baby Stella get her pacifier.
Hugging Baby Stella. She is getting to be a snuggly little girl - awwww!
Taking Baby Stella for a walk in Emma's baby stroller back at Vama's house.
Yay Cousins! It was fun to see the girls be so much more interactive this year since Maddie was older. Can't wait for future reunions!
Hanging in the arm chair. She needs one for watching sports with Papa!
No soccer in the house? Busted! Guess I'll go back to chasing the dogs...
Emma giving a smile and happily eating her vegetables.
Uncle Chris hanging with the girls.
Uncle Brannon and Aunt Katie taking a moment to smile - must be close to Emma's bedtime...
Lovely ladies! Vama, Barrett, Aunt Katie
Maddie again "helping" with the dishes.
