Oct. & Nov. (otherwise known as where does the time go?!)

Maddie is a great eater. She loves to shovel food in her mouth! MMM...homemade teriyaki take-out!

Maddie is a very playful girl. She actually did this to her own hair on purpose and couldn't stop laughing about it! (Also note that her one little snaggle tooth is kind of visible in this shot - bottom at the point of the tongue.)

It was a cold and rainy day, perfect for a sweater. And before it got too small to try on, I put her in this yellow one that was mine as a baby. Thanks, Mom, for saving it! We needed some sunshine on such a dreary day.

We did not go trick-or-treating, but Maddie loved strutting her stuff around the house as a Vicious Vampirette. Thanks, YaYa!

Such a mischevious grin...
One of Maddie's current favorite things to play with are these microwave mits (thanks, Aunt Raelene - I still have them!). She carries them around all day, sometimes even getting one or both hands in the pockets.

Have I mentioned how much this girl loves to eat?! MMM...cheesy grits (so fun to clean out of the hair)!

Maddie and her Papa have so much fun being silly together. They were taking turns putting this bag used to store blocks on their heads. Of course on Maddie the bag went entirely over her head so she stumbled around in the dark! (I actually think the bandana look is great with Rob's long, hippie hair.)

Again with the mitties...

We took adavantage of a resonably warm and dry day to rake leaves and other yardwork. Maddie did a great job of keeping herself entertained by watching us. When she's not holding her microwave mits, another of her favorite items is to put her regular mittens on. (Think she's trying to tell us her hands are cold?!)

Papa Rob celebrating Thanksgiving in style...

Maddie re-living her Bumbo chair glory days...Amazing what a different child she is from last year when we discovered the chair!
